This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I am the owner of Bards and Sages, a small (tiny, itsy bitsy) press that publishes speculative literature and RPG materials. I have posted some samples of a few of our product bookcovers to give you an idea of the sort of stuff we publish.
Our "Favorites" section is a collection of Deviantart artists we have worked with in the past.
We are currently looking for freelance artists and have posted a formal request in the Job Offers section of the forums.
Thanks. If your interested, I got a few copies of "September and Other Stories" listed on Ebay real cheap lol.
I like to think my stories are character driven, and I let the characters tell the story through their actions and the dialogue. I think a lot of writers, particularly in the fantasy/horror genre get so caught up proving what "great" writers they are they bog down the stories with too much description. Yes, description is important, but do I need ten pages describing the entrance of a cavern or six pages of physical description of a character?
